Brittany J. Skettini

Branch 368
(August, 2009)

I am currently entering my third year at California State University, San Marcos. My studies and work occupy most of my time. I am majoring in Kinesiology and aspire to attain a Master’s degree. My area of concentration will be Physical Therapy. I look forward to working with and rehabilitating individuals suffering from orthopedic injuries and educating patients regarding the prevention of future injuries.

Beside my studies, I enjoy playing soccer and exercising at the gym. Playing soccer has contributed to my understanding of the importance of team commitment and also I’m aware of how many participants suffer from sports related injuries at a young age. The gym instructors are excellent mentors who provide guidance in pursuing my chosen career. I think this is what inspired me to pursue Kinesiology as a career. I would like to thank the HRFA for the scholarship which will help me achieve my educational goals. I would also like to thank Teddy Harsaghy for recommending me for the Student Aid scholarship.

Brittany was recommended by Ted Harsaghy, Branch 368 Manager
