Joshua Nicholas

Branch 227
(August, 2008)

I have been a member of the HRFA all my life (20 years), and participated in some of the fraternal projects to help other people in Trumbull County area. I have always been impressed by community work that the Federation does to help people and churches.
I graduated from LaBrae High School in May of 2006, where I participated in football, track, golf and indoor soccer. I was an honor student in high school who had a dream that someday I would become an airplane pilot.
I am currently in my second year of college, attending Kent State University, enrolled in the College of Technology Aeronautics, in which I fly a Cessna Cub Plane each day at Kent State University Airport.
At the present time I work part-time at the Handyman Hardware Store whenever time allows. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to receive a student aid scholarship from the HRFA, which will enable me to pursue my studies.
To all the members of the Federation, I thank you.
