Julianna Cservenak

Branch 62
(March, 2009)

My name is Julianna Cservenak, I graduated from Griffith Senior High School as class president, cross country captain, member of National Honor Society, and a leader of both drama and bowling club. My parents are Terry and Gyorgy Cservenak. I have two older brothers, Tom and Michael. I reside in northwest Indiana where I commute to school. Presently, I am an undergraduate student of Purdue University Calumet with two terms left until my expected graduation. I will finish school with a baccalaureate of liberal science with a focus in hospitality and tourism management. In my junior year my studies are devoted to industrial relations, organizational management, global tourism, culinary techniques, and marketing in the hospitality industry. This year I have been accredited by the state of Indiana with a ServSafe Manager Certification. I am a student member of the Club Managers Association of America, American Hotel & Lodging Association, and the Purdue University Marketing Association. I am a scholarship recipient from the Chicago Magyar Club and the Legacy Foundation for the past three years. Outside of school, I work full time and participate all year round in intramural tennis and dodge ball. My favorite hobbies are reading, playing tennis and working out. Currently, it is my goal to finish my education with exemplary grades and to become proficient in managerial skills. I have participated in volunteering with past summer Hungarian clubs picnics and I have attended the annual Magyar Ball for the past five years.
